Dr.A P J Abdul Kalam Birth Anniversary and World Students Day Celebration were held on 15th October at Saraswathi Vidyalaya. The Chief Guest of the function was Padmasree M.Chandradathan, Scientific Advisor to the Chief Minister and Former Director of ISRO, who delivered the Inaugural address. The program began by offering Floral Tribute to Dr.A P J Abdul Kalam. Mrs.Shylaja O R, Principal Saraswathi Vidyalaya delivered the Presidential Address. The students listened to anecdotes about Dr.Abdul Kalam from Shri. N Narayanamoorthy, Chairman Keltron. A presentation on Dr.Abdul Kalam was shown by Shri. P N Subramanian, Chairman of Dr.Abdul Kalam Trust. Felicitation was done by Shri. L Muthu and Shri. C B Kartha, Members, Abdul Kalam Trust. A vote of thanks was delivered by Shri. V K Narayan, Vice Chairman Dr.Abdul Kalam Trust.
