Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day is celebrated annually on October 31 to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel- Indian Freedom Fighter, Indian first deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of Independent India. October 31, 2019, marks the 144th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India. To mark this day, Saraswathi Vidyalaya conducted various activities. Students and teaching faculty members took the Oath of Unity to mark National Unity Day. The institution also organized a March past to promote National Unity. Observance of this day provided an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength, integrity, and security of our country. Essay Writing Competition provided a platform for students to share their views on the resilience of our nation. Through National Integration Song, students were encouraged to come closer to develop a better nation.
