Saraswathi Vidyalaya celebrated childrens Day to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India. He was lovingly called as “Chacha Nehru” by children. A special assembly was organised to celebrate the occasion. Students of Kindergarten participated in Fancy Dress competition organised for them. The school Principal, Mrs.Shylaja O R wished all the students on the occasion of childrens day. Speeches were delivered by the students to highlight the importance of the day. Foot tapping songs performed to the times of contemporary music left everybody screaming Encore.
