World AIDS Day is observed on 1st December every year. It is a day when we rededicate ourselves to providing awareness of AIDS, and to prevent its spread further. It is also a day when we also remember all those whom we have lost to the scourge. The theme for World AIDS day 2022 is Ending inequality and eliminating AIDS. To commemorate this day, Department of Biology, Saraswathi Vidyalaya conducted a special programme during the morning assembly. Remembering all those whom one lost and those who are still suffering ,Students of class XII carried banners and placards to sensitise students of lower grades not to discriminate those who are suffering from this disease.Students lit a candle and held it as a mark of respect. It was indeed a very moving sight when all stood together to commemorate a day which affects us all worldwide.
