To encourage young minds and to help them spread their wings with knowledge and awareness, to keep them updated with the happenings in their immediate and distant surroundings and to inculcate the habit of effective reading, that will eventually lead them towards the attainment of their dreams and aspirations, Saraswathi Vidyalaya actively and earnestly enables the practice of reading newspapers among the students. Newspapers are made available to the students, who are encouraged to read them thoroughly. Following this practice, during the next day’s morning assembly, questions pertaining to the articles read are asked and students who successfully answer these, are awarded the ‘Newspaper Quiz Kid’ title, by our respected Principal, Smt. Shylaja O.R.. Such accolades inspire students to dedicatedly engage and participate in the practice, thereby, making it a remarkable success.
